SOUTH LONDON LESBIAN MUMS GROUP
 
Today we hosted our first meeting of 2011, having taken a break in January.  I knew that we might have some new potential members coming along to check us out as I have been very busy over the past few weeks responding to enquiries about the group.  I wasn't expecting so many though and it was lovely to have such a mix of new mums, soon-to-be mums and prospective mums - as well as some mums with older kids who've been looking for a group like ours for some time.  Feedback was really positive about how friendly and welcoming the group is and everyone took membership forms with the intention of joining us.  What a really healthy start to the year!

February 13th - our first time joining the group and what a lovely warm welcome. It was such a delight to meet mums at varying stages of motherhood and to see all the different aged children playing together. Two hours of being able to talk about things that are so relevant to us as parents and even such things as discussing what are the most inclusive schools. Look forward to seeing everyone again in March. Blessings

March 13th - Another lovely, relaxing afternoon with the mums and their children. We enjoyed speaking to new mums and finding out we all worry about the same things and our little chap enjoyed making more new freinds. Many of us thought 2 hours once a month is so not enough.
